Protxseal is our own design and specification high performance water sealer compatible with use on mineral substrates such as renders, stones, blocks etc.

Key Features

Completely invisible; does not change the appearance of the substrate at all.

Siloxane based formula for high performance: Adds a self-cleaning effect to through coloured renders.

Can be used on all porous masonry surfaces, will even protect slabs, block paving etc from render splats adhering during render application.

Can be over painted, compatible with vinyl, acrylic, silicone or pliolite paints or our own Mendrend Render Repair System.

Quick drying on all neutral and alkaline substrates.

High penetration rates.

Very slight changes in materials porosity – The walls can still breathe.

Outstanding resistance to ageing agents (Freeze, thaw, UV, Etc.) due to stable structure of siloxane bonds that form with the substrates reactive groups.

Helps prevent algae growth and proliferation.

Easily applied using a low pressure spray, brush or sheepskin roller.

Consumption

Approx 3-5m2 per litre.

White is the brightest option in K Rend’s standard scraped render colour range, although the manufacturer advises that it should not be considered a brilliant white. The cement-based formulation incorporates silicone technology to produce a water-repellent yet breathable finish. As the colour runs through the render, the completed surface does not require an additional coat of masonry paint. This makes it a practical, low-maintenance option for new-build developments and refurbishment projects.

This item will be factory made to order if not in stock. Fassacouche Ivoire is a light ivory through-coloured render for exterior walls. Offering a warmer alternative to a pure white finish, this understated shade can brighten a property without creating too sharp a contrast against its surrounding materials. The neutral colour makes Ivoire suitable for complete elevations as well as extensions and renovated sections of existing buildings. It can sit comfortably alongside red or buff brick, natural stone, timber features and a wide range of window and roofing colours.
