K Rend Base Coats For Painted Substrates
K Rend base coats suitable for use on painted substrates. These products are NOT advised to be used on substrates previously coated with oil based paints. It is strongly advised to only finish with a K Rend TC finish render when applying K Rend render systems over a painted substrate.
K Rend HP12 is a high-polymer base coat designed to provide improved adhesion and water resistance on difficult substrates. Suitable for hand or spray application, this K Rend base coat creates a reliable background for compatible K Rend finishes. Scrim cloth may be required in certain applications to reinforce the system.

K Rend Alkali Resistant Reinforcement Mesh provides high strength, good cohesion, excellent coating and is widely used to reinforce walls. This is a genuine K Rend product, beware of cheap imitations!
