K Rend Base Coats for Cement Particle Board

This range includes HP12 and HPX base coats alongside alkali-resistant mesh. Suitability depends on the particular board and the manufacturer-approved build-up, including fixings, reinforcement and decorative finish. Confirm these details with K Rend and the board manufacturer before installation, and use the specified treatment around joints, openings and changes in background.
K Rend HP12 is a high-polymer base coat designed to provide improved adhesion and water resistance on difficult substrates. Suitable for hand or spray application, this K Rend base coat creates a reliable background for compatible K Rend finishes. Scrim cloth may be required in certain applications to reinforce the system.
