EJOT fixings are used to secure insulation boards as part of external wall insulation and façade systems. The correct fixing depends on the supporting substrate, insulation thickness and requirements of the specified system.
This range includes hammer fixings for solid masonry backgrounds and self-drilling screws for timber or steel substrates. Each product is available in different size options to accommodate varying project requirements.
Insulation boards should be installed flat and securely before the reinforcing base coat is applied. Fixing heads must sit correctly against the board without being left proud or driven excessively into the insulation.
Always follow the external wall insulation system specification and the current EJOT installation guidance. Project-specific fixing calculations may be required for exposed locations, taller buildings or façades subject to increased wind loading.
