Alkali-resistant external render mesh made from woven fibreglass yarns. Designed to reinforce render and base coats while improving the strength and flexibility of the finished system.

Prep-it PRO External Render Mesh is a versatile, alkali-resistant fibreglass reinforcing mesh suitable for internal and external applications. It can be embedded within render or base coat to improve strength, increase flexibility and help reduce the risk of surface cracking.

The 4mm x 4mm woven mesh is highly tear-resistant and can also be used to reinforce concrete, cement, screeds and plaster. Each roll measures 1m x 50m and can be cut to the required size using scissors or a suitable knife.

Application

Embed the mesh within the appropriate render or base coat, following the relevant system specification. Overlap adjoining sections by at least 50mm to maintain continuous reinforcement.

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
