Create a defined edge where two elevations of Light Mist Hardie® Plank cladding meet with the Hardie™ Plank MetalTrim External Corner Profile. The trim covers the exposed ends of the boards at an outward-facing corner, producing a straight junction while helping to protect the edges of the installed cladding.

Its colour-matched LM5 finish coordinates with Light Mist planks, allowing the corner to sit neatly within a consistent façade design. Alternatively, it can be combined with a contrasting board colour where a more noticeable framed effect is required.

The 20mm profile is intended for use with Hardie® Plank lap cladding and is supplied in a 3m length for cutting to the required height on site.

Where is an external corner trim used?

External corner profiles are fitted around outward-projecting angles, including:

• Main building corners
• Extensions and projecting sections
• Boxed columns
• Dormers and entrance features
• Other external changes in façade direction
