The Hardie Gecko Gauge pair helps support and position Hardie Plank boards during horizontal lap cladding installation. Used together, the gauges help maintain consistent spacing between courses while the next board is fixed.

Designed for 8mm-thick fibre cement cladding, this set is preset to a 150mm reveal for 180mm-wide Hardie Plank boards, producing a 30mm overlap. The reveal is the visible height of each installed board. Supplied as two gauges, the set helps reduce repeated measuring as work progresses. Continue checking the courses with a spirit level and follow James Hardie’s installation guidance for fixing and alignment.
