Use

A 96 is used to bond and skim-coat polystyrene panels, Styrodur and Styrofoam, and mineral-wool panels in the external thermal insulation composite systems. It is also used to embed reinforcing meshes and to skim-coat concrete surfaces and pre-fabricated units.

The neutral shade can soften the appearance of a modern façade while coordinating easily with anthracite windows, dark roof coverings, metal trims and contrasting sections of render. This OC2-class render is coloured throughout using inorganic mineral pigments. As well as creating the decorative finish, it helps protect suitable masonry from exposure to the weather. Its W2 water-absorption rating limits the uptake of liquid water, while high vapour permeability allows moisture vapour to pass through the finished surface.
