Scraped Texture Finishes

K Rend scraped texture renders form an attractive range of one-coat applications, plastered directly onto blockwork. This type of application is suitable for ashlar cutting. They can also be used as a finish in conjunction with a K Rend Base Coat. To achieve the required finish, float to a level surface then scrape the entire surface evenly with a scraping tool when the render is set but not hard, removing 2mm to produce a uniform texture.

Com Rend

This hand applied, through coloured render provides a cost effective, and popular finish, without silicone properties. 

• One Coat Coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 32-36kg / sq m approx for 16-18mm thickness.
• Over Base Coat coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 20-24kg / sq m approx for 10-12mm thickness.
  

Silicone WP

This hand applied, through coloured render is silicone enhanced, for greater levels of water repellancy. It provides a broken stone effect finish.

• One coat coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 32-36kg / sq m approx for 16-18mm thickness.
• Over Base Coat coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 20-24kg / sq m approx for 10-12mm thickness.
  

Silcone FT

This render has the same properties of Silicone WP, but provides a fine texture finish.

• One coat coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 32-36kg / sq m approx for 16-18mm thickness.
• Over Base Coat coverage: 2.0kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 20-24kg / sq m approx for 10-12 mm thickness.
  

Spray Rend

This render is designed for machine application but without silicone properties. Spray Rend provides labour saving application, with an attractive through coloured finish.

• One coat coverage: 1.6kg / mm thick / sq m
• Requires: 26-32kg / sq m approx for 16-20mm thickness.
  

Silicone Spray

Another render designed for machine application, but with silicone properties. Spray renders are ideal for larger projects where the speed of machine application can offer time saving benefits. Silicone Spray is currently available in two grades- Silicone Spray for larger diesel machines or Silicone Spray grade E for smaller electric machines.

• Requires: 26-32kg / sq m approx for 16-20mm thickness.
