K Rend

We are a supplier of K Rend renders which have been produced using white limestone sand since 1989. K Rend products are BBA accredited, certificate number 97/3428, assuring you of the highest levels of quality at all times. All K Rend products usually can be delivered directly to site within seven days of confirmed order.

Basecoats

We have a range of K Rend Base Coats available, which are polymer modified for strength and flexibility. These Base Coats can be used on various building substrates and may be painted as a finish coat.

Scraped Texture Finishes

Plastered directly onto blockwork, K Rend scraped texture finishes provide an attractive range of through-coloured one-coat applications, and can also be used as a finish in conjuction with a K Rend base coat. A silicon enhanced version of this product range is available, providing a higher level of water repellency ensuring a freshly rendered appearance for a prolonged period.

Dash Receivers

Used over K Rend Base Coats, K Rend Dash Receivers are polymer modified and through-coloured. These products are designed to have excellent workability and open time properties when used as backgrounds for 4-12mm dry dash or Roughcast finishes.

Roughcast

Roughcast can be used as an alternative to dry dash, providing an attractive through-coloured render finish. K Rend Base Coat is first applied to the surface, followed by a coat of Dash Receiver. When the dash receiver is still green, throw a coat of Roughcast onto the surface. Dash Receiver and Roughcast must be the same colour.

Brick Rend

Our own design and specification. Brick Rend is an attractive brick effect render that is particulary useful with refurbishment projects where new brick-work cannot be used. It is normally applied to K Rend Base Coats in two different coats. The top coat is then cut through to expose the mortar layer, creating the brick effect.

Mendrend Render Repair System

Our own design and specification. Mendrend is a patented render repair system that no other supplier of renders can offer. With over thirty years experience in the development, manufacture and application of renders, we are aware that unforeseen circumstances, or adverse conditions can sometimes mean the required quality of finish of applied render is not achieved. We have developed Mendrend to provide an easy solution to some of the more common issues that can arise during render application, such as the natural phenomenon of limebloom or localized areas of cracking.

• Mendrend is available to buy for self-application, or alternatively we offer an on-site service. 
• Mendrend is fully compatible for use with the K Rend range, as well as renders produced by other manufacturers.
